As a partnership between Ridgeway Education Trust (RET) and Orchard Learning Alliance (OLA), we are confident we can offer trainees a breadth and quality of experience that will ensure they can enter the profession prepared and able to be successful and develop their career however they choose.

Both trusts have a track record of delivering excellent outcomes in schools that are rich in diversity. Our schools spreading from rural South Oxfordshire into the more urban surroundings of the Reading area, and range in size from single-form entry primary schools to secondary schools with 1500 students. We are also unusual in that, alongside the more traditional co-educational secondary of Waingels College (part of OLA), Ridgeway Education Trust includes single-sex secondary comprehensive schools that work in close partnership (and are geographically very close) to offer the experience of both mixed and single-sex settings.

This range of settings ensures that trainees are able to grow and learning in a setting that broadens their experience and prepares them for wherever their career takes them after qualifying.
